Michael was born and raised in East Boston where he was introduced to the street life at an early age. At the age of 15 he started to drink and use drugs. He spent 15 years in this lifestyle. It was when he was sitting in a jail cell that he heard the gospel and accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Despite some initial change he continued to struggle with addiction.
It was when Michael entered Teen Challenge Massachusetts on June 20, 2016, that he realized that he had to walk the path that God had for his life. While in Teen Challenge Michael realized the truth of John 8:12: “I am the light of world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but have the light of life.”
When Michael began to live his life in the reality of a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, everything began to change. He has never been the same since.
Michael graduated from Teen Challenge Brooklyn on January 28, 2018 and currently serves Teen Challenge Massachusetts as the Event Coordinator.
