John Laurenza
The Carpenter's Shop Manager

John came into Teen Challenge on November 1, 2017. He was broken and had lost everything from his construction company, to his marriage and his family. He thought the gospel was a fairy tale. Two things helped him realize that the gospel message was true: reading the book “Forgiveness” by Charles Stanley and spending time with Ed Boulais. John was able to accept the free gift of forgiveness from God for his sins. John is so thankful to God to be able to call himself a new creation in Christ.

John serves as the Carpenter Shop Manager, overseeing the manufacturing of the cutting and charcuterie boards. John is blessed to help provide funds for the program and ministering to and building character of the residents under his care.
