Douglas Tubach LMHC serves as the Clinical Counselor at Adult & Teen Challenge Massachusetts and Greater Boston. Adult & Teen Challenge realizes that our residents not only struggle with the issue of addiction, but they also have other co-occurring disorders such as Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Bipolar, etc. Doug is here to extend and complement the treatment of the whole person at Adult & Teen Challenge. Doug has been a Psychotherapist for the past 14 years helping couples and individuals find healing. Before that he founded and ran a transitional living program at The Boston Rescue Mission. Doug received both an MA in Counseling and an M.Div. degree from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. After graduating from high school, Doug thought he was on his way to fame and fortune when he came out to New England to go to Berklee College of Music, but God stopped him in his arrogance and through the power of the Holy Spirit revealed Jesus to him in an undeniable way. Since then Doug has been following Jesus and discovering God’s dreams for him. Doug has been married to his seminary sweetheart, Dot, since 2000. Doug also served for 7 years as the Associate Pastor of Winthrop Street Baptist Church in Taunton, MA and currently serves on their Elder Board.
